Hong Kong

Hong Kong

Quick synopsis of our week in hong kong:
Arrived in a jock Saturday morning at 7am, following 11 hour flight from LHR. Qantas are a nice airline! more legroom required however.....

Great views of the ocean, nice balmy weather (a little overcast at the moment though), good night life and food so far :o) even though resembles night out in Temple Bar with people from the UK and beyond! Cocktails half price at 2 dollah can't be bad though..

Sunday, we went to Shek O with Andy and Ashlee. this is apparently an old chinese fishing village - hung out with some Aussies for the day.

Wednesday saw us hob-nobbing with the racing set at "Happy Valley" Race Course, where we met new friends and ended up dancing til 5am in an aptly named establishment Insomnia. We also managed to win a few bob on the horses - Shabu Shabu pulled in the most dollahs at 10 / 1 odds. P O Sullivan also trained a winner.
We went, we saw, we chose, then we ate our lobster, crabs and prawns on Lamma Island on Thursday evening. Great nightsky city views there and back.

Dublin - Hong Kong - Thailand - Laos - Vietnam - Cambodia - Malaysia - Singapore - Australia - New Zealand - Chile - Bolivia - Peru - Argentina - Brazil - Dublin
